2001 saw the launch of connect2image.com a very basic web based photographic business allowing athletes to buy rowing images captured by ARA Coach Tutor Colin Cruwys.

The next two years saw an increase in the number of athletes and sports using the service as well as contract shoots alongside more frequent magazine and press work.

Growth in demand for both Colin’s images and the need for a direct and secure credit card payment facility in 2003 saw our print production and online payment options being provided by a dedicated gallery hosting and print supplier.

In 2006 it was decided to re-launch the direct selling side of the business whilst maintaining the supply of media, commercial and syndicated options, through the subscription option of Sportrait.net

Colin has been elected to full membership of the Sports Journalist Association     Accreditation and access to major events is via Association International Press Sportive
